Multilingualism is one of the mainstays at Agora Sant Cugat International School and we reinforce our language curriculum with our Language School. Pupils from Primary to Baccalaureate can choose the language they want to boost or improve from English, German, French and Chinese, or prepare the SAT tests.

At our Music School we offer a complete programme for our pupils to perfect their music studies, improving their attention span and concentration and boosting their school performance. We offer classes in musical language, orchestra, band, chamber music, combo, choir, instrument classes, and individual or group singing.

We offer a broad range of sporting activities so pupils can choose their favourite sport: judo, athletics, chess, tennis, football, padel tennis, basketball, rhythmic gymnastics, dance, multi-sports, ballet in English, artistic roller skating and roller games. Endless opportunities for the pupils to develop physically and acquire values.

Visual and scenic arts

A huge number of benefits is gained from children being in contact with art from an early age. Through the arts and performing arts activities we offer as extracurricular activities, pupils will gain in sensibility and grow as people. They can choose from theatre and art in English.

Science and technology

Creative and technological activities are available within our science and technology programme. Robotics is a great way of learning how to programme, in Creative technology students learn all about drones and videogames design, Fun science teaches the children about science and Kids Brain is where Primary children learn Maths and English using an abacus. Our youngest pupils learn these things in a Creative activity called Lego.

Cooking is a wonderful way to develop children’s creativity, and have a great time! Cooking stimulates their senses, as dealing with ingredients forces them to notice smells, flavours, consistencies, and above all, to be disciplined and responsible. Cooking is also a good way for them to discover and become familiar with food and nutritional health, while gaining self-confidence.

Academic Support

We offer support lessons, learn to learn lessons, reading and writing support, and application of technology in learning lessons. All of them both individually and in groups.

“Hello! My name is Bianca and I’m 12 years old. I’m a pupil at Agora Sant Cugat International School, and always, since the first day of school, I’ve loved it! It’s all really exciting!

In the transition from my old school to Agora, lots of positive changes happened, and all the teachers were really useful. I had problems getting used to the different division methods in maths, and my teacher showed me how to do it step by step until I managed to understand it. Also, there are lots of nice people and that means that you can end up having lots of friends to spend time with. There are lots of opportunities to do different things like joining the school band, learning languages, and even learning to cook. The school challenges you to bring out the best in yourself, and who doesn’t like a challenge?

I still remember my first day in 6th Primary. I was excited to be in a new school, but also a bit nervous. After they introduced me to everyone, I remember that I felt relieved when I discovered that everyone was super nice, supportive, and welcoming.

It really is a very good school, since it improves your knowledge, and throughout 6th Primary I improved my language skills and music skills a lot. In my class we went on really fun excursions and trips to the countryside. My favourites were the trips where we stayed to sleep – one in autumn and another in the summer. In my first year I made lots of new friends and learnt interesting things about the world.

What I like about ASCIS is that everyone cares about you and you make friends for life.”
